As Netflix moves into the live streaming space it changes our surface area for security and reliability posture. I'm currently leading the rearchitecture of our CDN security DDoS detection and mitigation infrastructure.

I joined Coinbase as the most senior SRE IC in the company to double down on reliability and scalability and build out their SRE organization. I worked across the infrastructure and product teams to deliver new reliability primatives in the paved paths: Baseline Canaries, Auto Deployment rollbacks, Circuit Breaking, etc. I also rewrote the internal service registry (Golang, React) to achieve 100% coverage of service ownership and map to accountable pagerduty rotation.

As CTO and first engineering hire at eFuse, I was responsible for establishing a product and engineering organization from the ground up. During my 2.5 years at the company I wore virtually every hat to build a silicon-valley style company going from zero to 30 engineers, and zero to hundreds of thousands of users.

• Brought in OKRs to help clearly communicate what winning looks like and aligning all teams around our goals
• Architected and built CI/CD and deployment pipelines to support our engineers shipping code up to 30 times a day
• Brought in various tools and processes to help us scale our engineering organization: Feature Flags, A/B testing, Mixpanel, Observability

On the Network System Team I was working on our Network Disaster Recovery infrastructure.
